Is a vital integrated part of the human experience. No one would be alive without Sex and feeling shameful about sacred sexuality upholds form of oppression. Social change begins in the bedroom and everyone being empowered to express their wants and needs. This word was not intended to be a sexual reference and at the same time. it has its place as sacred sexuality cannot be possible without creating a circle of sanctuary and protection.
We are a little removed from this word. possibly with think of a refugee for animals and in this way perhaps it is similar to what we are cultivating in communities and ourselves. To find nurturing, sustenance and solace cultivated from within and shared with one another is the essence of Caim. What would it feel like to find sanctuary within yourself and to know that you could rely on others to hold that space outside of your being?
this form is a powerful one it holds all other forms, to invoke a circle is to call in qualities of continued growth, never ending wisdom and wonder. The circle is strong and as they overlap with other circles it forms the seed and flower of life. As a community we seek to embody and emulate this notion creating interconnected and dependent webs of inspiration with intentionality.

words sounds have power, This one holds ancient wisdom from the Wales, Wales is a very unique place that has stood against thousands of years of foreign rule and been able to maintain their language and individuality in the midst of a climate that would love to see conformity. We as a community seek to cultivate this resiliency and steadfast resolve.
when we come across things that are new to us, we are given an opportunity to explore something new, this can be done with fear or with awe. Hmmm, I wonder if that is where the word comes from. Awesome, awe inspiring, Awen, it all adds up to me. I invite you to allow the meaning of this word to unfold for you in it's own sweet way.
Sage was inspired perhaps by Awen, or her Irish, Welsh, Scottish heritage to start explorying Celtic tribal practices in 2014, as their connection and understanding grew of these the conviction that some concepts desire to be re acknowledged and renewed into the world that we are now navigating. This word came to them and the more they felt into its meaning and truth withing themselves the more it felt alive. It is with great humility and understanding of its origin that we call on it now.
