Where we have been, helps us to understand where we are going to choose a new path or to stay on familiar trails, to fear or embrace the adventure of what might be around the next turn. My travels took me around the world and showed me the great joy in the unknown. Each day is a journey where is yours headed?
Tennalach is a gaelic word that means to hear the song of the earth. As I connect to the resonance of nature I find peace, wisdom, growth all of the natural world points us to greater understanding of ourselves and the world that we have chosen to join as humans. What does it speak to you?
Personal empowerment , some call it sovereignty, some autonomy, it all comes down to one thing, the life that you are living is yours, there are many things that will happen in your lifetime that are beyond your control and those are not yours to worry about, all you have is how you choose to respond to your world, your life, you are at choice in every moment. As a sexual assault survivor this idea has at times been very troubling and yet the more, I claim my power to choose the more I find peace.
power through, navigating personal power in connection with other people is one of the most complex things we do as humans. Claiming our power while still being kind and keeping our hearts open and compassionate is our work. How do you engage power?
